"Do you think we should give monetary incentives to the KP2 students to motivate them to get better grades?"
In my opinion, we should give monetary incentives to the KP2 students. No doubt that it will motivate them to get a better grades. Why should we block their incentives? It sounds ridiculous and it seems too cruel to me. As we know, everything in this wold needs money. What if a student doesn't have money? I can't hardly imagine that.
Once a student get a bad result in the examinations, i am sure they didn't want it to happened again. They must study harder for the upcoming examination in order to get a better grades. So we must give them monetary incentives so that they will be more motivated. If a person in a great trouble, we must help them. Don't make their lives more difficult by blocking their incentives.
Not all the students are from a rich family. Some of them really need the monetary incentives. What will happen if they didn't get the incentives? How are they gonna buy food if they didn't have any money? Can you study if you are hungry? Think about it. Maybe they didn't study well or they have a problems that effected their result. So give them a chance.
Monetary incentives is a very important thing for a student. The money will be used to buy foods, photocopy notes, buy books and stationary. Of course for some student, they will go shopping with that money. But, for the KP2 students, they will certainly not doing that. They doesn't have time to go shopping. They must be more focus on their study.
Blocking a student's incentives will make it even worst. Most of the students that doesn't get the incentives made a decision to quit study. So, don't destroy their dreams. Again I mention, give them a chance to improve themselves. Blocking monetary incentives to the KP2 students is not a good idea.
